One of the classic psychological crises of humanity is that, while we have something to be grateful of, we don’t have someone to be grateful to. This stems from the fact that, ultimately, there is nothing that you have that was not given to you and that a gift is given to a person on the same plane on which it is denied another.

Our conscious may be trained to have a self-centric ideology which warrants success to individual knack, but our subconscious detects and punishes the inherent inconsistency.
