Cryptic, yeah…granted! I’m impressed you picked up on that and I’m flattered you think cryptic is a cool idea for poetry. And yeah, the love poems; I’m finding it hard to write those these days. Interesting. Never crossed my mind…not in that direct way at least. Come to think of it, in one of Michelangelo’s famous paintings, The Creation Of Adam, Adam has a belly button and it was just relatively recently that someone discovered that, also in the painting, the depiction of God is enveloped in a human brain. Michelangelo actually did that art for a clueless Chappell and it passed for Okay. So, yeah, subliminal has always had an exclusive sit in art.
