, ,

Through thick and thin,
He carries me.
Pensive Me;
The big brother I never had.

Suffocating bitterness,
Cosmic helplessness;
All on his shoulders
Like two giant dumbbells.

Pensive Me understands.
Beats himself up so I wouldn’t.
He entertains my insects
To keep me calm during daytime.

He is a hard worker;
A janitor and plumber.
The attendant to the nooks and crooks
Of my ever-bleeding heart.

For all the weight on him;
For making him cry,
An apology would be more pointless,
Than the royal one to Alan Turing.
