A mirror is an emblem of

Moronicity and low esteem;

The solid prisoners look at

To solicit value and acceptance.

Literate to fleeting shadows

That distort shapes and sizes;

A broken record of false assurance

That forms lies with no persuasion.

To know self is not in ear’s angle

But in the philosophy of life;

The simple knowledge that

The eyes look but the brain sees.

Now close your eyes

And see your face for the first time;

It is in this that you establish

The first step to self-love.
